Why Sana Sana

The reason behind the name

I brainstormed a lot of names with my mom and sister before deciding that I liked Sana Sana Shoppe the best. The name Sana Sana it's inspired by a rhyme that I think most Spanish speakers can recognize: Sana, sana, colita de rana, si no sana hoy sanará mañana. (Heal, heal, frog's tail, if it doesn't heal today it will heal tomorrow.)

This rhyme is also about healing and making somebody feel better. I think it's something we all really need right now.

The reason behind the logo

When I was designing the logo I decided to use a Mentisan tin as my inspiration, even though it's a little niche. Mentisan is a Bolivian minted ointment that we like to use when we're sick, like vaporub.
